A business graduate visa closes on new applications on July 5, 2019. It is succeeded by a start-up visa
A postgraduate visa allows international graduates to extend their stay in the UK after graduation to establish one or more companies. You are allowed to establish either as a sole trader, partnership or limited company
To be eligible to apply for an Entrepreneur Entry Visa for graduates, the applicant must be from outside the EEA and Switzerland and must obtain approval from the UK Higher Education Institute, if it is an authorized agent or by the Department of International Trade
Applicants with a recognized UK educational qualification such as a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree are required to meet English language requirements
If the applicant is able to prove the certification, the applicant must submit the application to the Ministry of Interior and provide relevant supporting documents to support its application. The type of documents depends on whether you have been accredited by the HEI or by the Department of International Trade.
Applicants will also be required to receive adequate maintenance funds. The level of funds required depends on where you apply; at least £ 1890 if you apply from outside the UK, and at least £ 945 for domestic applicants. In either case, you must have access to funds for 3 continuous months or more
Under the visa, you are allowed to stay in the UK for up to one year. Supplement is available upon request for another year. However this is not a way to settle permanent residence in the UK
