The UK start-up visa is a welcome new addition to the current UK business visa options
The new route targets citizens from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who are looking to set up their first job in the UK. Available to both graduates and non-graduates, it encourages more foreign entrepreneurs to come to the UK and contribute to the British economy, with special ambitions to accelerate growth in sectors such as technology.
As with Entrepreneurial Visa Level 1, this type of visa requires the applicant’s endorsement and business idea from an accredited entity, including business organisations and universities.
