Applicants will need a minimum of £ 50,000 available to invest in their business
They must obtain approval from a licensed business body, which will evaluate the application according to the visa criteria for innovation; viability and scalability. The applicant must also demonstrate their credibility and commitment to the project – visa holders will not be allowed to work in the UK in related work.
Leave will be granted under the innovative course for 3 years at a time, with no time limit on visa holders in this category and permanent residence and nationality can be obtained through this route after the necessary conditions have been met.
